Downtown encompasses an 18-block zone that is set aside to encourage art and artists. The district hosts First Friday on the first Friday of every month. First Friday offers a diverse group of artists, food trucks, local bands, fire breathers, acrobats, break dancers, fortune tellers and performance artist. The Arts District is dedicated to stimulating the economic and cultural life of the region through the development and promotion of the district.
